At Bayan Ceramics, we believe a studio is more than just a place to make pottery - it is a Third Place. It is a soulful sanctuary between home and work where the "Positive Force" of community is forged in clay. Our Bayanihan Experiences are named after the Filipino tradition of communal unity - the spirit of a neighborhood coming together to lift each other up.
Weekly Public Experiences
Designed for individuals and friends to join our communal table. No experience required.
Clay & Cabernet
Every Friday Evening | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The social heartbeat of Oak Park. High energy, local wine, and artisanal appetizers. It’s the perfect transition from the work week to the weekend.
Sentro & Stillness
Every Saturday Morning | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
A meditative start to your weekend. Accompanied by premium tea service, local bakery treats, and a focused atmosphere, this session invites you to unplug and ground yourself in the restorative "Stillness" of the craft.
The Monthly Premier Slots
To protect the sanctuary of our resident members, we offer only one of each experience per month. These exclusive slots are highly coveted and booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Bayan Bazaar
A Quarterly Celebration of the Handmade
Four times a year, we will transform our 7,600 sq. ft. industrial sanctuary into Oak Park’s premier makers' destination. The Bayan Bazaar isn’t just a market; it’s a high-energy convergence of local craft, live music, and the "Positive Force" of our creative community.
The Vibe: Walk through the Portal to find a curated selection of Chicagoland’s finest potters, painters, woodworkers, and jewelers. With our studio in the backdrop and the Lake Street breeze flowing through the studio, it is a tactile shopping experience unlike any other.
The Details:
When: Once per quarter (Seasonal Saturdays).
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Admission: $5 donation (The “Bayan” Giveback)
The "Bayan" Giveback: $5 admission donation goes directly to our Open Wheel Scholarship Fund, ensuring the market grows the next generation of makers.
