Bayanihan Beyond
Our Walls

As we build toward our Fall 2026 opening, we are actively seeking partnerships with local artists, nonprofits, and community advocacy organizations who share this hope. Whether it's collaborating with a fellow maker on a joint exhibition, opening our studio doors to a charity fundraiser, or working alongside advocacy groups to bring clay to individuals facing barriers of cost, ability, or access — we want Bayan to be a place where Ugnayan (Connect) extends outward, not just inward.

We know firsthand that there is something quietly healing about centering yourself at the wheel, hands in the earth, breath slowing to match the rhythm of the clay. That feeling shouldn't be reserved for those who can simply walk through our door. It should be something we actively carry out to the people and organizations working every day to serve our neighbors.

If you are an artist, a nonprofit leader, a wellness provider, or a community advocate who believes access to creativity and wellness should be shared widely, we would love to build something together.

Bayanihan was never meant to stay inside four walls. It is the spirit of a community lifting a house and carrying it together — and we believe that same spirit should carry the tactile, grounding experience of clay to people who might not otherwise find their way to a pottery wheel.
