At Bayan Ceramics Studio, everything we do is rooted in bayanihan, the belief that a community is strongest when everyone can take part. That belief extends to our website. We want every visitor, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about our classes, explore memberships, read The Flow, and connect with us easily.
Our commitment
We are working to make bayanstudio.org conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, who are deaf or hard of hearing, who navigate by keyboard or with assistive technology, or who have cognitive or motor disabilities.
What we’re doing
To support that goal, we are adding descriptive text to images, organizing pages with clear headings, checking color contrast, adding captions to our videos, making our forms and documents easier to use with assistive technology, and making sure visual effects on our site respect your device’s reduced-motion settings. We review the site regularly and test new pages as we add them.
We’re still learning
Like a pot on the wheel, this website is a work in progress. Some pages or documents may not yet be fully accessible, and we are actively working to improve them. If someone on our site gets in your way, we truly want to know.
